ABOUT
Born and raised on Texas' Gulf Coast, Emily found her love of the arts at a young age. She spent her early years performing in a variety of community theatres before participating in Junior Theatre Festivals and beginning early work with iTheatrics, MTI, and Concord Theatricals. Alongside her love of performance, these various opportunities allowed her to explore and develop a fierce passion for choreography. After high school, she left Texas to study at Shenadoah University (SU) as a double major in Musical Theatre (BFA) and Dance (BA).

Emily has been training with Vocal coach Matthew Lee Robinson (composer/lyricist - ATLANTIS, Black Box, and Magic School Bus) since she was thirteen. While at SU, she trains with Professors Kevin Covert, Shylo Martinez, Matthew Edwards, Patrick Brady, Nancy Anderson, Maurice Fraga, Daniel Padierna, and Tiffanie Carson. She has also studied under choreographers Earl Mosley, Mike Esperanza, and Ruddy Frias. She is a third generation Meisner Acting-Method student (under Professor Scott Hudson).
While not on the stage, Emily can be found actively working with the American Cancer Society through volunteer work with Relay for Life. She is passionate about being involved in her campus community, and achieves this through her roles as President of Alpha Psi Omega, Vice President of the SUrreal Choreography Troupe, and participation in Sigma Rho Delta. Her hobbies include: cooking, baking, painting, playing the oboe, and spending time in the sun!
